General Features
Lost or stolen cards can be quickly cancelled or replaced using the card replacement wizard, thus avoiding the
need to re-enter all the cardholder data and also will keep track of previously issued cards to all staff.

The powerful PC software can hold over 60 database fields per
cardholder including photograph, company details, department,
personnel data, membership data and vehicle details with search and quick search facilities.

The software provides real-time door status information and direct single action door control from the main screen for online readers and uniquely also provides support for offline low cost standalone
controllers from within the same system programmed through the portable data transfer unit.

In the event of loss of communication with the access control PC all controllers continue to operate and stores locally the transactions with date and time stamp until communication with the PC is restored and the data is automatically uploaded to the PC.

Photo Identification

The integrated photo identification software allows each cardholder to have a photo imported or taken from a live camera for video verification The software can also print photo ID cards with easy to configure, userdefinable card templates. At designated doors, cardholder data including photo is displayed in realtime, to provide instant photo verification—avoiding employee ‘card swapping’.

Exception Monitoring

A unique feature of the software is the exception monitoring time zones. This allows, for example, access 24 hours a
day for 7 days a week plus bank holidays, but if the cardholder enters the building outside normal working hours then this will flag up as a special event, silent alarm at the host control, or
automatically send an e-mail. Exception reports can be generated per cardholder, department or group for specific doors,
sites or time periods.

Doors are monitored continuously, doors forced and left open alarm can be acknowledged centrally or at door level if the cardholder is authorised to do so.

Transactions are colour coded, clearly indicating its priority on the main screen with filters to show only alarms and exceptions.

With the use of a colour printer, reports show clearly the priority transactions avoiding the usual data overload of non relevant
information.

All operator actions and system transactions are automatically logged to the hard disk and can be viewed, printed, emailed or exported to prDoor scheduling allows the opening and closing of doors automatically at pre-set times and days.ovide detailed reports of events.

AX200

Plug & Play
Ethernet TCP/IP
Access Control

The AX200 is an Ethernet based (TCP/IP) high-speed controller. Two AX100 intelligent door interfaces can be connected to each AX200—with its modular design, the system can be expanded up to 256 controllers per site with 32,000 cardholders.

The PC software included automatically detects the jumper-less controllers.

The extremely small controllers can easily be fitted local to the door and allows connection to existing local and wide area
networks using low cost standard CAT5 cabling. This provides an economical way to control doors requiring long cable runs or
for remote offices and sites without the need for costly dial-up modems or cabling.

Automatic setup and wizards reduces not only the installation and maintenance time considerably, but also provides the novice
or infrequent user guidance to quickly perform a wide range of tasks.

The AX200 has been optimised for Wide Area Networks with minimum bandwidth and ‘smart’ packaging of data to avoid
collisions. This optimisation makes it ideal for controlling and monitoring hundreds of remote sites—from a central location.
Typical applications include supermarkets, offices, utility companies, hospitals, universities and any other organisations
with satellite buildings.

Access Point Control

The graphical time zones can be setup to restrict certain users access outside office hours or weekends and bank holidays whereas other cards can be setup to have access 24
hours / 7 days a week. With 256 time zones per user, selectable per door, even the largest organisations can restrict cardholders in
greater detail.

The dedicated fire input can be programmed for individual or groups of doors and includes a quick test function.

Who's In

Do you know who is in the building at any given time?

The AX200 software includes a single mouseclick operation to provide a list of who’s on site in an instant. This is an extremely useful tool ideal for emergency / muster situations.

How does a visitor book-out of the system if they have already returned their visitor pass to reception?

Receptionists and other authorised users can manually book-in or out individual cards— ensuring your “who’s’ In” list is constantly upto- date.

Remote Reporting Module

The optional remote reporting module enables authorised users to run a host of reports from remote locations running on the same network.

Detailed reports for individuals, departments, groups or contractors
itemising hours on site—on a per day, week, month or specified period providing a useful tool for the 48 hour week regulation. Reports can be printed and exported in a wide variety of formats
including CSV, PDF, Word, HTML, Excel and XML allowing integration with other software and associated tools. This password protected module allows for multiple connections to different
locations—virtually anywhere in the world.

Advanced warning of environmental changes can avoid serious damage or difficult working conditions.

In today’s world, without heating and/or electricity, makes it difficult for organisations to function and often causes other large indirect
losses.

Environmental monitoring

The optional small module monitors temperature, humidity, flood, light level and current measurement.

High and low values can be set and if exceeded create local and central alarms.

In addition to high and low values, sudden changes over a specified time period can also be set to create alarms.
